Seawall

01. The Challenge

Communities in flood-prone areas faced the constant threat of property damage and loss of life due to frequent flooding, exacerbated by storms and rising sea levels. The absence of effective flood control infrastructure left vulnerable areas exposed to severe flooding, endangering lives and properties.

02. The Solution

As part of the Flood Management Program, a seawall was constructed to protect coastal communities from storm surges, high tides, and flooding. This infrastructure included reinforced barriers designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and rising water levels, alongside enhanced drainage systems to ensure proper water flow.

03. The Result

The seawall construction significantly reduced the risk of flooding, safeguarding both lives and properties. Communities within the protected areas now experience greater resilience to floods, reducing economic losses and enhancing safety during adverse weather events. The project also contributed to long-term flood risk management and environmental protection.
